About KruBrix

KruBrix uses the power of Facebook Connect to create a beautiful mosaic of your friends' profile pictures. For just $9.95, we will print it on a 14 x 20 poster, and ship it to you for free, anywhere in the U.S. (international shipping coming soon).

We are big believers in technology and its ability to keep people connected, but we have mixed feelings about what people are doing with their pictures. On one hand, it's absolutely incredible that digital cameras are everywhere and that photos are so easily shared online. On the other hand, we miss sharing our memories in the real world with more lasting and high-quality prints. There's just something special about a printed photograph, and we miss it! So, when we approached this project we though: how can we create something that includes this idea, and still reflects the social nature of Facebook? We decided on the photo mosaic and we could not be happier! :)

About DigiToto

DigiToto is one of many small, but growing companies in the Wilson CoLab Family. Specifically, DigiToto is our digital print products CoLaborative branch. We work together to create unique products that reflect the social context of digital media, and bring those into the real world through one of the earliest social technologies: print. Some might call us crazy trying to build a business around print what with all your blogs and kindles- more power to you. We think that stuff is really great. But, where some see the death of print, we see an opportunity to re-think and re-contextualize a method of communication that nearly 100% of people come into contact with naturally, every day. How's that for a user base? Long live ink on paper.

Breck Kling - 43. Rochester, New York

I'm most interested in exploring emerging art and ideas. The lens through which I understand the world is influenced most by art and design. I get excited about technologies as a new canvas. My job is to sync up our CoLab team around art, design and technologies to discover new products and services that we can all love.

Scott's Theorem:
If X = Y, then y = )
shared social experiences (X)
meaningful relationships (Y)
Family, friends, hockey, and the CoLab provide me with an abundance of X.
